  You'll receive a Shopping Coupon for the local shopping street and a souvenir: an original Battle of Domyoji tenugui (Japanese hand towel).
  Change into your armor or kimono. (The costumes—including armor and two-piece kimono with an uchikake outer robe—are usually worn directly over your regular clothes.)

  With over 1,400 years of history, enjoy a special photo session in your costume against these historic backdrops. On guided tour days, enjoy live commentary from our guide.

  Overlook the historic battlefield from Tamate Bridge on the Ishikawa River and pose in front of the Battle of Domyoji Monument (Summer Campaign of the Siege of Osaka). On guided tour days, enjoy live commentary from our guide.

COSTUMEAbout the Costumes

Armor

Armor is assigned by size, so you cannot choose a specific style.
*Depending on body type, armor may not fit well, or at all, for people over 2 m tall or over 100 kg.

Princess-style kimono

A two-piece kimono designed for easy wear, so you can enjoy the feel of wearing a kimono. It is worn over your own clothes.

Footwear for Kimono

The geta (wooden sandals) come in one size only (fits 22–24 cm feet). If they do not fit, please wear your own footwear.

CANCELLATIONCancellation

Cancellation by the organizer

If the tour becomes overbooked because several requests arrive just before the deadline, we may have to decline your booking request by email.
If a weather warning is issued or a major natural disaster occurs or is expected, we will notify you of the cancellation by email at around 3:00 p.m. the day before. If this happens during the tour, the tour will be ended early.
